Clairefontaine Paint'ON is perfect mixed media paper for students and experienced artist that allow to combine variety of techniques and mediums. This heavy-weight paper accepts a range of dry and wet media and its good absorption capacity makes it ideal for gouache, ink, acrylic and even light washes of watercolour. The smooth texture of this paper also suits for fine detail drawing in both pencil and pen.

This Paint'ON pad contains 20 sheets of 100% cellulose paper made from raw materials from sustainably managed forests. This Extra-White pad is having two distinctive surfaces. One side has a pronounced grain to give character to creations. The other side is smooth and is dedicated to precise drawings. The paper is 250-gsm, natural white, acid-free and pH neutral.

Clairefontaine Paint’ON pads are the perfect mixed media sketchbooks for experimenting with new materials and approaches. The heavyweight surface can take a huge range of wet and dry media, and is tough enough for anything creative you can throw at it - the 250gsm textured paper won’t disintegrate when erasing and is resistant to warping when used with wet techniques.
Available in A5, A4, A3 and A2 sizes, each pad comes with a hard greyboard backing and glued sheets along a single edge. The natural (cream/ivory) paper will give a beautiful ground to your work, and can be used within your work to give it a softer edge, especially when using charcoal, graphite, pencils and pastels, however it is also great for use with gouache, acrylic paint and even light watercolour washes.
