The method of using PIGMENT DecoBrush markers is similar to acrylic paints, but enclosed in a convenient marker form with a flexible, nylon tip in the shape of a brush. The covering paint contained in them can be used on paper, metal, glass, plastic, wood, textiles and many other materials. The opaque, matte paint allows them to be used also on dark substrates using techniques previously not available for other markers. They have been produced in the “liquid ink” technology, thanks to which, unlike traditional technology, they allow the consumption of 100% of the paint.

The Brause 513 is a medium flex nib that produces great line variation, from fine hairlines to super swells. Very similar to theĀ Brause 511Ā nib in appearance and performance, save for a few key differences: The 513 is not as scratchy, making it easier to use on textured papers such as Arches hot press.
